Red Line - Efficient and comfortable electric heating solutions for your home
The Red Line by Jürgen Schlösser Armaturen includes infrared heaters and electric underfloor heating systems. Both offer ways to heat rooms using electricity. Depending on the configuration, they can be controlled with compatible 16 A room thermostats. The right option for your home depends on the building conditions and your individual heating requirements.
Infrared heaters – heat through radiation
Infrared heaters transfer heat to surfaces and people in the room, among other means, through infrared radiation. The perceived warmth depends on factors such as the unit’s placement and use, as well as the characteristics of the room. Energy consumption depends on the heating requirements, operating time and properties of the building. This alone does not allow for a general comparison with other heating systems.
Electric underfloor heating – heat through the floor
Electric underfloor heating systems transfer heat through heating mats installed in the floor. Depending on the product and floor construction, they may be installed beneath suitable floor coverings. Before selection and installation, check the manufacturer’s instructions and the suitability of the floor covering. The heating mats are integrated into the floor and therefore do not require additional floor space.
The addition: 16 A room thermostats
Compatible 16 A room thermostats allow the connected heater to be controlled. Programmable functions may be available, depending on the model. Please check the technical specifications of the thermostat and confirm its suitability for the specific heater and installation.
Choosing a heating system to suit your needs
Infrared heaters and electric underfloor heating systems differ in how they work and where they are suitable. The appropriate option depends on the building, heating requirements and intended use. Running costs also vary according to electricity consumption and tariff. The specific conditions should be assessed before making a decision.
