The dual sensor heating cost allocator measures the temperature on the surface of a radiator as well as the room temperature. Consumption is based on the temperature difference, which these tamper-proof devices regulate precisely.
The device has functions preventing metering during the summer (no consumption is recorded when the radiator is not receiving heat from the central heating system).
In addition, measured values can be displayed to allow users to read off consumption values themselves (and notify the metering station).
